Oklahoma Republican Assembly Endorsements

June 9, 2012

On Saturday, June 9, the Oklahoma Republican Assembly held a candidate forum and special convention for the purpose of endorsing congressional and statewide candidates.   After a lengthy discussion, members of OKRA voted to make these endorsements:  

Congressional District 1        Jim Bridenstine
Congressional District 2        No Endorsement
Congressional District 3        No Endorsement
Congressional District 4        No Endorsement
Corporation Commission   Bob Anthony          

In order to receive an endorsement, the candidate must have received a two-thirds supermajority of the votes cast at the meeting.  This endorsement is also binding on our umbrella organization, the National Federation of Republican Assemblies.
